ABOUT ENFOLD
enFOLD Collective is an interdisciplinary design practice that seeks to position community voices at the center of our work. Through stakeholder engagement and collaborative design processes, our mission is to propel a renewed sense of thinking and uplift the voices of underrepresented and under-resourced communities. Innovation, aesthetics, and craft equally serve our design framework and praxis.
Founded in 2021, enFOLD is composed of architect and planner Dana McKinney White and artist and urbanist Megan Echols. As women of color, we have fought for our voices to be included. But inclusion is not enough - the voices of women of color need to be embraced by the design disciplines and folded into our understanding of the built environment and urban form.
